Why this matters:
We offer lots of support and documentation materials, but sometimes the fastest way to a customer's heart is to simply show them a hands on demo of a really cool trick. This lesson will:
- Show you how to make mind blowing complexity with a single object and the click of a Replicate button.
- Teach you the true power of our volumetric tools, for example Blend which merges the geometry of objects together to create new shapes.
- Learn how to navigate the interface like a pro, with keyboard shortcuts, gimbal secrets, and single-click buttons for instantly changing your view of the object.

We think modelling should be fun, easy, and impressive. Try out these activities to share great tips and tricks with your customers:
- Powerful Tools - You may remember the Replicate tools menu from Lesson 1. Now try out this fun introduction to Replicate, and also powerful tools from the Volume menu, like Blend and Subtract.
- Keyboard Shortcuts - If you ever wanted a cheat sheet of all the buttons you can press to make modelling fast as lightning, here you go!
- View Buttons - These humble view buttons are actually a life saver when you've navigated away from your object and want to reset the view of your scene.
- Gimbal Secrets - The most essential tool in moving your object is the gimbal. Did you know that it is customizable? You can actually set gimbal Snap settings to Rotate, Translate, and Scale in chosen increments, for example by 10 units, or 60 degrees!
